Welcome!
On behalf of the Latin-American & Hispanic MBA Association (LAHMBA), welcome to our community. We are an organization at Texas McCombs composed of domestic/international LatinX MBA students and our allies. Our Mission
The Latin American & Hispanic MBA Association (LAHMBA) at the McCombs School of Business strives to enhance the experience of Latin American and Hispanic students through the organization of professional, cultural, and social events. We hope to create an inclusive community of prospective students, current students, alumni, partners, faculty, and staff. We also aim to promote awareness of Latinx heritage and the Hispanic and Latin American culture at McCombs.
Our 3 pillars are Social, Community & Professional Development. Read below to learn more about our pillars and projects.
Social
Community is important to us, and we want to serve as a social outlet for LAHMBA students at McCombs! In April 2019, we held a fun salsa social event at Esquina Tango with over 35 participants. If you have an idea for a social event, or want to collaborate with LAHMBA, please reach out to our Co-VP of Events!

Community
All Texas McCombs MBA students can join. Once you're a member, you will receive a monthly newsletter with career opportunities, event updates, and member spotlights. Make sure to follow us on Instagram as well at @texaslahmba!
