Welcome!
The Latin-American & Hispanic MBA Association (LAHMBA) is an organization whose objective is to build a strong community of Latinx and Hispanics within McCombs. We provide a platform for prospective students, faculty, alumni, and corporate partners to connect with each other. Through our social and professional events, we aim to create a long-lasting memory of our culture in the McCombs community.

Our Mission
LAHMBA strives to build a close-knit community and enhance the experience of Latin American and Hispanic students by organizing a diverse range of professional, cultural, and social events.
Our goal is to foster and inclusive community that transcends McCombs, where we can celebrate each other and embrace our diversity. We also aim to promote awareness of the Hispanic and Latin American heritage and culture at McCombs.
Our organization is built upon four fundamental pillars: Community, Social, Professional Development, and Prospective Students.
Read below to learn more about our pillars and projects.
Social
Community is a top priority for us. Our aim is to provide a social platform for both Latinos & Hispanics and those of any nationality within McCombs, to come together and share our diverse culture and heritage. We have hosted Mixology Night (Sprits from Bolivia, Peru and Chile), Dancing Night and Taco Crawl.
Stay tuned for more upcoming events!
